4. GS97
The General Art- and Industrial-exhibition, was open at Djurgården in Stockholm, during some months in 1897. Following foreign pattern, and with a lot of imagination, had some parts of the 16th century Stockholm been recreated. This under the name Gamla (Old) Stockholm. Built to last one summer, with timber, boards and plaster.
One of the buildings was Nordreport (Northgate) here depicted. This video has been made with an original photo from 1897, and 3D-images from the program/app GS97. As the latter ones not intended to be here when made, they not a perfect match. But it's a fairly illusion.

5. HULTABY CASTLE
Believing legends so was Hultaby castle in existents during the age of Vikings. This is not to take to seriously. The numbers of tombs from the Nordic Iron Age and also rune-stones, located in the area, may have influenced such stories. Hultaby castle, or Hultaboda ö (medieval name), is today a ruin just outside Vetlanda (Småland,Sweden). Embedded are a film from more modern times.

6. HVESTA
Vetlanda (Småland,Sweden), was Hvetlanda, before the spelling-reform in 1906. In terms of railroads, you can call it backwoods. To connect Vetlanda with the southern main line, the railway to Sävsjö was opened in 1884. The station was probably built to this occasion.
The first local steamengine was ordered from Motala verkstad in 1884. The name became simply Hvetlanda. It was used here until 1911. It was scrapped in 1955. This 3D-graphics intend to show the railwaystation and the engine Hvetlanda, in about 1900. Both long gone by now.

10. METAL SPINNING
An animation showing metal spinning (by hand). Called trycksvarvning or metalltryckning in Swedish, metall drücken in German. It is simplified, in reality you need many more strokes to produce one item.
This craft is an old and spectacular one. The basic idea rely on the transformation of a round sheet (a blank), into a symmetric object. Metal spinning performs just that, in contrast to more wellknown works by the lathe.

10. VETLANDA
This video includes 25 photographs from Vetlanda, located on the Highland in Småland, Sweden. Mostly surrounded by comiferous forests and quite a lot of lakes. All images originates from black and white film, that has been developed and copied to paper, in a darkroom.
They have some age, still not more then into the last two decades of the 20th century. Some things changes though. Gone are the school Blåbäret and the house that once included the shop of Ulla-Märta. The buildings at the railway, have been replaced by the Resecentrum (resa=travel). The traffic on the rails are anyhow minimal. The diving-tower at the Kvarndammen no longer exist. The Himlabackarna are now a place for settlements. Other things stays more or less the same.
